With the birth of distributed computing, decades ago, a number of symptomatic problems have emerged within IT that are common to all companies who choose to implement their own IT organizations. With hindsight, we can see that these problems are fundamentally IT Operations issues that typically surface visibly and directly within a company's proprietary businesses. These problems, common to all IT shops, world-wide, include but are not limited to:

• Point solutions for each distinct sub-area of IT Operations
• Data that is distributed in an incompatible, stale, and fragmented manner across all such systems
• Impossible attempts to integrate all these point solutions
• Higher Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) as a result of purchasing all these point solutions and/or trying to integrate them all together
• Poorly integrated processes that become awkward and disjointed as data moves across such disconnected point solutions

Typical drivers that create such problems include but are not limited to:

• Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As)
• Poorly defined processes
• Having to buy and/or implement solutions that only run on technology platforms which are not standard to your company's environment
• Uncontrolled standards, policies and procedures

Having come to such a conclusion and having no where to turn for real help but to each other, the founders decided to put their decades of Process Development & Optimization experience as well as their decades of prominent Product Development and Service Management backgrounds to good use. The end result is this company.

TraverseIT's vision is simple. "IT-In-A-Box" or "IT-On-Demand". We believe that vendors should not build and sell you many different products and services that are nonintegrated and require separate maintenance payments, along with separate purchase contracts. Instead, we believe in building and selling one comprehensive solution that offers on-demand IT services at the click of a button. As we grow, you grow. As we improve you improve. New services simply appear in your browser, upon upgrades. The more we put into our product, the less you have to implement in your own organization. In short, we help your process service list grow while reducing the individual point solutions that are historically needed to implement any one service.

Very simply, we believe in what we are offering because we live it every day. We've built KnowIT as our own answer for eliminating our own excessive point solutions, our expensive and time consuming integration efforts, and our TCO problems. We felt it was stronger than anything made available to us through traditional, well-known vendors and we feel that you will see the same value in our product once you get to experience the same successes we have.
